About Dr. Bill
Dr. Bill Singleton is a licensed clinical psychologist and licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in individual, couple and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Tustin, CA.
Professional Experience
Dr. Singleton received his master’s degree in counseling psychology from Cal State Fullerton and he earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He has been in private practice as a licensed therapist for over 23 years. He has taught at both the high school and college levels and has led numerous professional workshops and trainings centered on psychology, relationships and personal growth. Dr. Singleton has worked in the non-profit sector with youth and young adults in crisis and has helped many adults overcome personal challenges and find new purpose in their lives. In addition, he has an expertise in dream analysis and a certification in career counseling.
Jungian Dream Analysis
Dr. Singleton has extensive training in the tradition of Jungian dream analysis and has taught several seminars on the process of dreamwork. The practice of exploring dreams can lead to great insight into various issues that may arise in the unconscious and can be addressed more effectively through the analytic process.
Clinical Supervision
Dr. Singleton is a qualified clinical supervisor. He has over twenty years of experience supervising Ph.D. interns, ASWs and IMFTs who are working to obtain clinical hours toward their licensure. Dr. Singleton is well versed in many clinical approaches and works to match each supervisee in their specific orientation towards treatment.
Career Counseling
Dr. Singleton has a certification in career counseling from UCLA. He is able to assist individuals who may be just starting to explore their career choices or their life’s vocation or those who are considering an overall career change and need assistance in determining what new direction is best.
